Fable Concepts

These are some concept works from Fable 2 and Fable 3. Fable 2 is set only 50 years after the events of Fable 2 so the designs for the buildings are similar in style.

They have the same feel to them, the designs vary from town to town in the games, but they still keep the same feel.

Even in Fable there are slums and poverty in the streets, remeniscent of old london streets. Stone bridges over a river, with shacks under the bridge for protection. Rats on the streets. It shows a poor and dirty life.

There were no sewers for a long time in London, people would through their waste into the river Thames. So we will need to incorperate a river into our scene.

Ideas...

We decided Fable was a good starting point as it gave us inspiration for our project as it has a very unique style.

We liked the overall style of the game and more importantly the style of the bulidings. It was quite interesting looking up concept art for the game, quite hard finding usable images though.

This image is one of our favourites, its from a town called Bowerstone in the game. Its from this image we decided we wanted to do a street.

The game that started it all...

So our group decided to do a London street from Medieval times. How did we get to this idea? By playing far too many video games of course!

Fable III. The newly released game from Lionhead Studios. Most of our team had played it and it became our starting point for this project.

Theres no 'I' in team...

I will be working with, Deon Litchmore, Dominique Koomoshan, Gerome Oldfield, Sarah Strickland and Olivia Walters.

Go! Team Alpha Super Awesome Cool Dynamite Wolf Squadron!!!
